The brain tells your body what to do
Muscles are fibers that help you move
Your stomach and intestines digest food
Your heart beats and pumps blood, boom, boom!
Lungs take in oxygen when you breathe air
Bones make your skeleton, but don’t be scared
Exercise keeps you healthy, take the stairs
Instead of elevators, show your organs you care!

Your brain is smarter than a million computers
You used to not know what 2 + 2 was
Now your memory can help predict the future
And solve big problems when you put your mind to it
But the brain won’t work without the heart
Every organ in the body has to do its part
Each beat pumps blood and marks the start
Of the circulatory cycle, you can check the charts
The heart needs nutrients to stay strong and efficient
That’s where the stomach and intestines play their positions
They take in food and create the conditions
To separate waste products and distribute vitamins
Organs and muscles absorb nutrients in your blood
Muscles are bundles of fibers that make you tough
And strong, they connect to and work with your bones
To help you move, listen to your brain, throw your hands up!

The brain tells your body what to do
Muscles are fibers that help you move
Your stomach and intestines digest food
Your heart beats and pumps blood, boom, boom!
Lungs take in oxygen when you breathe air
Bones make your skeleton, but don’t be scared
Exercise keeps you healthy, take the stairs
Instead of elevators, show your organs you care!

The human body is made up of trillions of cells and
206 bones make up your skeleton
Bones are porous, calcified, connective tissue
They support your body structure and limit how you move
Your liver purifies blood and aids in digestion
You know what your lungs do, but I’ve got a question
What regulates blood sugar and makes hormones
Breaks down carbohydrates, fats, proteins, hold on!
I remember now, it’s the pancreas
I gotta kiss my brain for that, word to Miss Thomas
The list of things you know is so big, I need a ladder
But let’s add a few things, the kidneys and bladder
Kidneys filter waste from blood to make it purer
Waste travels to the bladder in your waist via ureters
What happens next, well let’s flush that subject
As far as organs go, your skin’s as big as they get

The brain tells your body what to do
Muscles are fibers that help you move
Your stomach and intestines digest food
Your heart beats and pumps blood, boom, boom!
Lungs take in oxygen when you breathe air
Bones make your skeleton, but don’t be scared
Exercise keeps you healthy, take the stairs
Instead of elevators, show your organs you care!
